Synopsis

Sewing for Future tells the inspiring story of Farzaan, a determined woman from Gilgit, a breathtaking tourist destination in Pakistan known for its majestic mountains and serene valleys. As the beauty of her homeland faces growing threats from climate change and pollution caused by increasing tourism, Farzaan decides to take action.

With a vision for a cleaner and greener future, she launches a grassroots initiative to reduce plastic waste in her community. Armed with a sewing machine and an unyielding passion for change, Farzaan begins creating reusable cloth bags. Going door-to-door to local shops, she advocates for a plastic-free lifestyle, encouraging business owners and residents to adopt sustainable alternatives.
