Sapna Zamir is an award-winning independent filmmaker, storyteller, digital content creator, and filmmaking trainer from Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.

With a degree in Mass Communication from Karakoram International University, Gilgit, she is committed to addressing the environmental, social, and economic challenges faced by her community.

She is the founder of SHELeads, an organization dedicated to empowering communities through skills development in filmmaking, production, and digital media. SHELeads focuses particularly on uplifting women by providing them with tools to tell their stories, strengthen their voices, and contribute to the resilience of marginalized and underrepresented communities.

Through her work and leadership, Sapna amplifies unheard voices and drives meaningful change using the transformative power of storytelling.
